NEW YORK—Minnie Mouse wore bordeaux, the color of the season, on the Paris runway. Donning a short ruffle trimmed Lanvin shift, the stylish Disney mouse walked past the A-list fashion crowd seated in the front row.
“Electric Holiday” envisions Minnie Mouse’s fashion fantasy in Paris.
Minnie Mouse is the star of “Electric Holiday,” the animated fashion fantasy was created for Barneys holiday windows that features some of the biggest names in the industry, everyone from Alber Albaz, Glenda Bailey and Cathy Horyn to Sarah Jessica Parker and Naomi Campbell.

The clever short film is a dreamy narrative incorporating all the key elements of the big fashion shows—paparazzi, street style fashion photographers like blogger Bryan Boy and make up artist Pat McGrath—and also showcases fellow Disney characters Pluto and Cruella Deville striding down the catwalk.
The video will be screened in the windows of Barneys Madison Avenue store through Jan. 3, 2013 and can also viewed at Barneys stores across the country.
