The Met Features Portraits by Andy Warhol and Chuck Close

NEW YORK—From afar and up close where the detail reveals their mastery, portraits by Andy Warhol and Chuck Close are a sight to see. Large-scale examples are currently featured in the Modern and Contemporary galleries at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where Warhol’s Mao is perched high around the corner from a trio of the Pop artist’s works and “Mark” by Close.
