NEW YORK–A psychodelic explosion of velvet is carpeting the floor of D’Amelio Terras. The entire gallery is devoted to the floor installation by Polly Apfelbaum, which is one in a series of dimensional works for which she is known. The scattered strips of vivid color layed in precise configurations creates an almost painterly work.
“Flatterland Funkytown is on view at D’Amelio Terras Gallery from March 10 to April 28, 2012.
