NEW YORK—Walk up Second Avenue and you will see the windows of Nigeria House, the Consulate General of Nigeria building at the corner of East 44th Street, papered with an array of artwork. The pieces were created by Nigerian artist Abubakar Akobi, who serves as managing director of the Abu Center for Art and Culture in Abuja. A wide selection of Akobi’s pen and ink drawings and oil paintings are for sale in a ground-floor space of the high-rise through Dec. 15, 2011.
