NEW YORK—“EAT,” a series of photographs of roadside restaurants across America is on display in the dining concourse in Grand Central Terminal.
The 18 lightbox images by Jim Dow pay tribute to vintage diners, snack bars and local joints likely to have a neon sign out front and Coca-Cola on tap. Dow recently published a book of photographs, “American Studies,” that includes images from “EAT.” The exhibit is a part of the MTA’s Art for Transit program and will be on view through September 2012.
